Texas Water will be conducting system flushing in response to recent reports of yellow or brown water in parts of Bulverde Hills, Copper Canyon, and Edgebrook.
Flushing helps clear out naturally occurring minerals that can settle in the water lines by increasing water flow through the system. You should not experience a service interruption, though you may notice a temporary change in water pressure during this process.
To assist with the flushing process, we recommend running water from an outdoor spigot. This can help push any discolored water out of your service line and clear out any sediment that may have settled within your household plumbing.
