About the Zoning Board of Adjustment


The Zoning Board of Adjustment is responsible for granting variances and special exceptions to the terms of the zoning regulations of the City, and deciding appeals from decisions of administrative officials related to those zoning regulations. The Board has 5 regular members and 1 alternate member, who serve for 2 year staggered terms. The Board meets on an as-needed basis, averaging 4-6 meetings per year.
